One of the big trends in hemlines this year has been the high-lo hem.

This hemline, longer in back and shorter in the front, gives you the best of both worlds and gives skirts and dresses a great drape and flow.

To be most flattering, the front hemline should hover around the knee for curvy petites.  The asymmetrical hem creates a lengthening effect that is very flattering.

Animal Attraction

I'm a sucker for classy animal prints.  Unlike other prints, I never get tired of them.  The neutral shades go with just about anything, and they add a fun pop that make your basics anything but boring.

This is what I wore to work today.  My go-to work uniform consists of pants + blazer + heels + cute top + fun accessories.  It's a basic formula but one with infinite style possibilities.

Do you have a work uniform?

Welcome to my blog!!!

Hi everyone,
My name is Cassie, and this is my very first fashion blog!

I have loved clothes and style as far back as I can remember.  Several years back, I decided I wanted to start a fashion blog.  After years of debating "how" to do it, I decided just to do it.  So, here I am!

Please bear with me through the initial growing pains, while I continue to get the site up to my standards.

And, please join the conversation!  I'd love to hear your comments and questions about fashion and style!
